Who can sign up for The BIG Event?

Any student, alumni, faculty, or staff member can volunteer with us, just simply register on I-Engage!

When is The BIG Event?

The BIG Event will be held on April 10th, 2021 with check-in and kickoff beginning at 8 am and volunteering from 10 am - 3 pm.

What do we do at The BIG Event?

The BIG Event sends volunteers out to the community to give back for 4 hours. Depending on where you are sent, you may be painting, gardening, mowing lawns, or washing windows for residents and doing any volunteer jobs that a nonprofit might need on that day.

What should I bring on the day of The BIG Event?

You should wear clothes you would not mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, and a reusable water bottle. We will provide bug spray, sunscreen, and first aid kits for your team.

What do we get out of coming to The BIG Event?

You will receive a free t-shirt, free breakfast, free snacks, and memories to last a lifetime. Participating in The BIG Event will also look great on your resume!

Can I register for The BIG Event on the day of (April 10th)?

Yes. However, a t-shirt and breakfast won’t be guaranteed.

Where will we be meeting on the day of The BIG Event?

Check-in begins at 8 am in the University Center (UC) Rotunda, and further instruction will be provided on the day of.

Can I bring my dog/cat/animal?

Only service animals recognized by the university are permitted.
